Home is where the heart is! ..kinda

Now that I'm back home for a while, I'm really starting to miss Nashville... I really, really, really, really like it there. 

Sure I love my home and being with my family and seeing friends, but Nashville is where my dream lies. When I'm there I feel like I can reach out and touch it and it's right there in front of me.

Today the weather is depressing here. I live on a lake that looks like this in the summer... 

Buuuuut today it looks a little something like this...

Oh, and did I mention it's 39 degrees out? It's a bit nippy.

Anyways, I guess this weather is good for writing. I've been needing a good session with the pen and paper lately so that's exactly what I'll do. 

Come November first though, I'm recording some original stuff back in Nashville! SO EXCITED!!!! I can't wait for y'all to hear the music I've been working so hard on. 

But until then, I'm going to lay in my bed and look out a dreary window and write music to cheer me up.
